Capitalization

• Check if all your "I"s, beginnings of sentences and proper nouns are capitalized

Overall Appearance

• Use your best handwriting

• Stay in the margins and on the lines

• Leave spaces between each word

Punctuation

• Check for periods, commas, exclamation points, quotation marks, and question marks

Spelling

• Circle words you don't know

• Sound them out

• Consult a dictionary
